Films description

Movement and the specific role of dance in short films by young Polish artists (2002-2007). A film requires synergy between film art and dance art. The Panorama shows different attitudes to dance in films, made during the last five years. It includes animations, short feature films and documentaries, cinematographic etudes and video impressions, showing dance and movement.

Aesthetically refined, a sensual study of the movement of a dancing man. The dancer remembers his life. Scenes from his childhood, exercises in the ballet room, intertwine with images from a shoemaker's workshop, where an old master craftsman is making ballet-slippers.
